Reporting to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, the Site Manager will directly manage all nursing clinical functions at designated regional site. The Site Manager will drive initiatives that contribute to patient access, engagement, and positive clinical outcomes for patients while championing the implementation of policies and procedures in each service line (psychiatry, MAT, , PC, SRH). Working in tandem with the Directors of Service Line Operations for expert support, guidance, grant deliverables, and community outreach partnerships.
The Site Manager will be a model for excellent patient care ensuring patients and families are receiving exceptional services at Signature Health.
- Effectively manage and oversee the daily objectives and operations of the nursing team.
- Responsible for helping to ensure the delivery of efficient, high-quality patient care services and experiences, and that the administrative and operational services at each site work seamlessly to support clinical services at that site.
- Demonstrate an excellent level of interpersonal skills; interact and deal tactfully with staff, administration, patients, families, customers, and vendors.
- Seek out new methods and principles for process improvement, incorporating these into existing practices at your site.
- Lead by example by provide ongoing communication, teaching, and training to team members.
- Actively lead team meetings and process improvement initiatives to continuously improve work productivity, quality and efficiency of the team.
- Support the Nursing Operations Director in developing and implementing metrics for monitoring program effectiveness, maintain clinical protocols to support an evidenced based patient care delivery model, care coordination, and quality improvement efforts.
- Ensure clinical procedures and screening practices are compliant with state and federal standards, as well as evidence based practice.
- Oversee site safety operations to include collaboration with facilities, IT, Security, vendors, landlords (as appropriate).
- Collaborate and coordinate with key leaders coverage of VFC and VFA vaccine validity and temperature excursion measures.
- Use incident reporting system, encouraging utilization for reporting events, near misses, complaints, employee injuries.
- Participate in the selection, development, and evaluation of site-based leadership-level staff at a minimum.
- Oversee team member's individual performance which should include ongoing coaching, development, and meeting objectives through the annual review process.
- Participates in developing Signature Health's plan for the recruitment and retention of care team members to ensure that a sufficient number of qualified staff members are available to meet the needs of the patients.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing required.
- Valid unencumbered RN license in the state of Ohio required.
- 4+ years of experience in an ambulatory, acute, residential or inpatient psychiatry required.
- 2+ years of nursing supervisory experience in healthcare preferred.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office/clinical work environment.
- While hours of operation are generally standard, flexibility to work evenings and extended hours may be required.
- Requires periods of sitting, standing, telephone, and computer work.
- Hearing: adequate to hear clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
- Speaking: adequate to speak to clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
- Vision:
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens. - Physical effort required: occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 15 pounds, unassisted.
