• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect forklifts prior to use and follow established safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspect and prepare delivery trucks for unloading.
• Accurately receive all merchandise and materials delivered to the club.
• Lifts, reserves and drops pallets of merchandise to and from the overhead steel and the sales floor.
• Prepare pallets for safe reserving by wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, and correcting broken pallets.
• Transport merchandise, material and pallets safely throughout the club.
• Utilize a pallet jack as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and food merchandise.
• Ensure that merchandise is fully stocked.
• Handle damaged and spoiled merchandise in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure the club is neat, clean, and organized.
• Perform general maintenance duties including removing trash and cardboard from the club.
• Participate in daily club openings and closings.
• Return merchandise back to the sales floor.
• Greet all Members.
• Provide Members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Assist Members in locating merchandise.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work in other departments as needed.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Most of the time is spent standing, and moving about continuously on hard surfaces. May require lifting objects up to 30 pounds, and possibly heavier with assistance. Requires frequent bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping. Comfortable environment with moving machinery and/or loud equipment. Occasional exposure to temperature extremes in freezer or cooler units. Occasional exposure to cleaning agents.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. The pay range for this position is starting from $16.75.
