Commercial​/Industrial Electrician

Electrical Contracting Company in Willoughby, Ohio is seeking an Electrician who has a Minimum of 5 years experience working as a commercial/industrial electrician. Permanent, full-time position with competitive pay & excellent benefits including 401k and paid vacation.

We are seeking to hire an Electrician with a minimum of 5 years commercial/industrial experience to join our team. You will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical controls, wiring, and lighting systems working from technical diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and specifications. To perform in this role you need experience in the field working on simple and complex electrical systems and possess the ability to perform electrical maintenance in commercial and industrial facilities.

The successful applicant must be committed and self-motivated, have good organizational skills and have the ability to work under pressure.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Panel wiring, construction and installation.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints and interpret specifications and drawing.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring or fixtures.
• Follow NEC state and local building regulations.
• Bend and run conduit 1/2" to 4".

• Experience (minimum 5 years) working as a commercial/industrial electrician.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving ability.
• Ability to work well on a team.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
