Vaco is working with an industry-leading manufacturing company that is looking for a Controller. Ideal candidates will have some public accounting experience and about 10 years of manufacturing industry general ledger accounting experience. This person will lead a team of 5 and be responsible for improving and maintaining the internal control system along with the accounting and reporting systems. We need someone well versed in GAAP, financial reporting, compliance, and consolidations.

Experience with a mid-sized or large ERP system is important and any knowledge of more modern automation software for entries and reconciliations would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with Treasury and FP&A teams to manage cash flow, create budgets, forecasts, and reporting.

Supporting external auditors, the CPA firm for tax returns, and the benefits team.

Assisting with due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions.

Participating in systems and team integration projects upon acquisition completion.

Coaching, training, mentoring, and developing staff.

Ability to lead the month-end close while effectively delegating duties on a well communicated timeline.

Compensation and Benefits:

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
