SUMMARYDiversified mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly or sub‑assembly of units that are moderately complex, requiring adjusting, fitting and aligning to ordinary tolerances. Requires print reading and basic math skills as well as the ability to use common hand tools and operate assembly machines. Typically requires a high school education and up to two years of related training or experience. Works from drawings or specifications.
May inspect and test complete unit. May rotate stations in a work cell. Work is typically performed at a bench and may include walking or standing some of the time. Work may be in a clean room environment.

- Ability to perform tasks assigned with minimal supervision.
- Works well with others.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Helps maintain quality control.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Good mechanical ability.
- Used basic Mechanical and/or electrical hand tools.
- Knowledge acquired to show and teach others tasks assigned.
- Workmanship and skill level recognized as above average.
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
- Work may require local travel.
- Work may require evening and weekend work.
