Bears Against Cancer Club Advisor
The UMHS Bears Against Cancer Advisor works collaboratively with students, school staff, and community partners throughout the year to plan and coordinate fundraising activities that benefit organizations such as Four Diamonds and local nonprofits. These efforts support pediatric cancer patients and their families while helping fund pediatric cancer research. The advisor oversees the planning and execution of the annual Mini-THON event, guiding student leaders through event organization, fundraising initiatives, and volunteer coordination.
The advisor also collaborates with the middle school Bears Against Cancer club to promote continuity, mentorship, and a shared commitment to fighting pediatric cancer.
