Cedar Park Group is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to support a fast-paced urgent care and outpatient clinical environment in the Willow Grove area.
This position is ideal for a provider who is comfortable working independently, managing a broad range of acute presentations, and contributing to efficient patient throughput while maintaining a strong patient experience.
The APP will collaborate closely with clinical and support staff to deliver timely, high-quality care in a high-volume setting.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical assessments, and treatment planning
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and common urgent care presentations
- Order and interpret laboratory, radiology, and diagnostic studies as appropriate
- Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and coordinate referrals when necessary
- Perform urgent care procedures and stabilization measures within scope of practice
- Support efficient patient flow while maintaining quality clinical care and patient satisfaction
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, follow‑up care, and preventive health measures
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly within EMR systems
- Collaborate with providers, radiology staff, medical assistants, and front‑office personnel to support clinic operations
- Participate in additional clinical responsibilities as needed within scope of practice
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Pennsylvania
- Current DEA registration and state‑controlled substance certification as required
- Board Certification through ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA
- Minimum of 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or high‑volume outpatient experience preferred
- Comfortable evaluating and treating patients independently
- Strong clinical decision‑making and multitasking abilities
