Garden Spring Center, a 173-bed long-term care facility, located in the Philadelphia suburb of Willow Grove, PA, is currently looking for an RN-Unit Manager to join our team of healthcare professionals.

• Monitor and provide daily oversight of resident care in accordance with facility and state standards through supervising and directing nurse staff
• Report to the Director of nursing to ensure excellence in quality care
• Promote patient independence by establishing goals
• Educate residents and their loved ones to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills
• Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
• Protect residents and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations
• Document resident care services by charting in patient and department records
• Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Ensure nursing supply and equipment maintenance needs are met
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications

• Must possess a Registered Nursing (RN) license within the state of Pennsylvania upon hire.
• 1 year as a nurse in a supervisory capacity
• Approximately 2 years' experience in a long‑term care or physical rehab setting
• Ability to establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
• Possess effective team problem‑solving and communication skills
