Job Description

The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment. They help customers find great deals and create a quick, easy, and fun shopping experience.

• Sales & Cashier:
  Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and guiding them to fitting rooms, sorting and returning clothing to the floor, motivating and inspiring employees on initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program, keeping the stockrooms organized and completing inventory processes, ensuring the sales floor stays "runway ready" through re‑merchandising and straightening during the day, assisting customers with transactions, demonstrating expertise in store technologies, and defusing customer situations with timely solutions.
• Stock & Fulfillment:
  Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver new merchandise to selling departments, fulfill customer orders timely while following quality standards, prepare and ship orders with proper packing and shipping standards, use inventory management systems to process merchandise shipments, maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms, and provide general support such as setting up special events, organizing the backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.

• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountability, initiative, and high level of ownership.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds for Stock Support or Fulfillment roles.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Hourly: $17.05 – $17.75
