Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients, staff, and medical equipment in a company vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, including arrival and departure times, and any unusual occurrences
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our facility's layout, including wheelchair-accessible routes and elevators
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient patient care and transportation
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, transportation) is preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) while providing patient care and transportation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
