Sr. Accountant

Description

Our growing client wishes to hire a Senior Accountant with experience working with a portfolio of entities to play a key role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of multi-entity financial reporting. As the Senior Accountant, you will oversee the general ledger system, assist with preparing accruals, support tax compliance, prepare annual tax filings, complete bank reconciliations, draft financial reports, coordinate the month end/year end close prepare data for monthly journal entries, assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliation, perform account reconciliations, assist with the annual audit process, maintain financial records, and perform financial analysis as needed.

The successful candidate for this role will have sharp analytical skills, excellent time management abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Implement revenue generating control systems

· Prepare monthly financial statements

· Complete month close general ledger activities

· Project cost allocation

· Balance Sheet Reconciliation

· Review year-end recovery chargebacks

· Budget Management

· Cash flow forecasting

· Assist with tax filing/compliance

· Perform account reconciliation

Requirements

The ideal Senior Accountant MUST have a Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.

Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:

· 2+ years of accounting experience with strong focus on general ledger accounting and financial reporting

· CPA preferred

· Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Real Estate and/or Property Management industry experience
