What You’ll Do At MonteithThe Project Accountant works with project teams to fulfill the project accounting and cost-reporting requirements of commercial construction projects around the area.
- With project team, work to manage overall costs as they relate to the budget
- Assist in trade partner payables as well as manage accounts receivable
- Administer and control General Conditions costs and review purchase orders and check requests
- Assist project teams with monthly job cost analysis and forecasts
- Analyze revenue and profitability of each project
- Obtain and maintain new credit accounts for material suppliers
- Maintain accounts with utility providers for project teams
- Gather sales tax-related cost for each project and facilitate recording and reporting
- A degree in accounting, business, or finance or relevant industry experience
- Experience in Construction Accounting preferred
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience with Dexter Chaney/ Spectrum Viewpoint preferred

The Pay Range For This Role Is55,000 - 68,000 USD per year (Monteith Wilmington)
