Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting | Newly Public Company Transformation Position Overview

A global industry leader is undergoing a major corporate transformation ahead of a planned separation into two publicly traded companies. As part of this transition, the organization is building out its Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting function and hiring an SEC Manager.

These roles will play a critical part in supporting complex accounting matters, SEC reporting, external disclosures, and public company readiness during a highly visible and transformational period.

• Research and resolve complex U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting matters
• Support preparation and review of external financial statements and SEC filings
• Draft and refine quarterly and annual disclosures
• Evaluate accounting implications for M&A, equity instruments, joint ventures, and other complex transactions
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and technical documentation
• Support ESG reporting, SOX compliance, and Workiva reporting processes
• Partner with Investor Relations on earnings releases and non-GAAP reporting
• Collaborate with auditors and cross-functional leadership teams

• CPA required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6+ years of public accounting and/or technical accounting & SEC reporting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• $155K-170K + bonus
