Senior Accountant

Up and coming company headquartered in DE is looking to expand its team due to upcoming growth. This role will have a significant impact on the company and play an integral role in building out the accounting function and processes.

Role will report to Controller with a lot of visibility to Sr Leadership and will also work very closely with the CFO.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and support full-cycle month-end close
• Oversee accounting in the areas of inventory, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
• Help strengthen and improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows
• Assist with Net Suite optimization and support implementation of the inventory module
• Supervise and mentor a Staff Accountant
• Partner with leadership and contribute to the development of a scalable accounting function
• Participate in a collaborative, high-visibility environment where strong communication and professionalism are essential

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
• Public accounting experience preferred but not required
