Accounts Payable Analyst
Wilmington, DE | Full-Time Contract Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join a professional services organization in Wilmington, DE. This role will provide critical support to the accounting team by managing the full accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting day-to-day financial operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment and is comfortable interacting with business professionals at all levels of an organization.
Responsibilities- Process and enter invoices, expense reports, and check requests accurately and efficiently
- Maintain vendor records and onboard new vendors as needed
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account details
- Print and prepare checks for distribution
- Maintain weekly and monthly accounts payable schedules
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and established payment procedures
- Support additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with executives, attorneys, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with ERP or accounting software systems preferred
- Fully onsite position in Wilmington, DE
