Client Accountant-Entry Level | CSC

This is a full-time hybrid role at CSC, located in Livingston, NJ, requiring three days per week onsite. This entry-level position in the US Funds Solutions group is crucial for delivering comprehensive fund administration services to private equity clients, ensuring financial accuracy and superior client support for complex financial operations.

  Manage multiple client deliverables, ensuring superior client service for private equity funds.

• Financial Statement Preparation:
  Prepare financial statements and their supporting schedules, adhering to GAAP and other relevant accounting bases.
• Capital Activity Management:
  Calculate capital calls and distributions, then prepare and accurately distribute the corresponding letters to investors.
• Reporting & Compliance:
  Handle investor communications and prepare necessary compliance reports for private equity funds.
• Client Interaction:
  Engage daily with clients to manage inquiries, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met.
• Internal Task Management:
  Fulfill internal responsibilities, including maintaining status reports and accurately tracking time for various client projects.

• Background: BS Degree in Accounting. Entry-level professional responsible for applying US GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
• Experience:
  
  0-2 years of experience in an accounting role. Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting is a plus.
• Skills:
  
  Advanced Excel proficiency (including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges), professional verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, solid organizational abilities, and the capacity to multi-task and perform under strict deadlines.
• Bonus: CPA or actively pursuing a CPA designation is preferred; experience with Investran software is a plus.
