Liberty Personnel is working with a growing real estate property management client adding a Staff Accountant to their team.
SummaryResponsible for reconciliation of bank statements and cash receipts; analysis of the general and prepare reports for senior management.
Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements/reporting packages for assigned property portfolio
- PreparejournalentriesandmaintaintheGL accounts
- Reconcile bankstatementstothegeneralledger
- Preparebankdepositsand monitorcashbalances
- Assistwithpreparationofannualoperatingbudgets
- Manage invoicing process including reconcile POs with receipts, reconcile invoices & post invoices for payment
- Record journal entries and reconcile sub-ledgers to the GL
- Perform the monthly closing
- Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations of financial records
provide financial insights and support strategic planning
- Assist in the preparation of budgets
- BS in Accounting is preferred but not required
- A/R, A/P, G/L experience is preferred
- Accounting software skills, Yardi is preferred
