Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Wilmington, DE. This role is responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payment processing, and maintaining positive client relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with accounting systems.

• Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and timely.
• Process and apply customer payments (cash applications).
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow up with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and accounting documentation.
• Support month-end accounts receivable reporting activities.

• Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
