Payroll Practitioner II (Full-Time | Hybrid)

Location:

Suburban Philadelphia

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Practitioner II to join our growing payroll team in Suburban Philadelphia. This hybrid role reports directly to the Manager of Payroll and plays a key part in supporting payroll operations for more than 5,000 W-2 employees using ADP’s Payroll System for multi-state biweekly/weekly payrolls. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy and timeliness are critical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processes payroll activities including wage calculations, deductions, department transfers and garnishments and other payroll updates
  • Supports and mentors Payroll Practitioner I team members
  • Responds to employee payroll inquiries with confidence and accuracy
  • Manages mid-level complexity payroll processing
  • Prepares employment verifications and supports onboarding payroll overviews
  • Prepares reporting documents for management
  • Performs routine audits and corrections to ensure payroll accuracy

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of payroll experience
  • FPC or CPP certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • macOS experience preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
