Warranty Service Manager

Responsible for on-site review and repair of warranted residential construction. Also assists with the administration of warranty orders by processing and closing tickets, reviewing reports, and following up on tickets as necessary to assure timely completion.

• Meets with homeowners to determine needed repairs and verify warranty claims.
• Supervises subcontractors on scheduled appointments.
• Ensures protection of the area of the home being worked on and surrounding areas.
• Ensures work areas are cleaned prior to leaving the home.
• Participates in customer service follow-up with homeowners.
• Works with Production Management and other departments to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
• Evaluates project costs and maintains budgets.
• Completes all inspections, required paperwork, including scheduling and payment approvals.
• Reviews warranty reports and follows up on repairs to assure timely completion.
• Works with subcontractors when necessary.
• Closes out orders in the computer system to maintain accurate records.
• Conforms with all safety rules and uses all appropriate safety equipment.
• Maintains a clean, well-organized work area.

• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  High school diploma or GED; and two or more years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Apple iPad, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and ability to learn KOVA software.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid state driver’s license in good standing and minimum state-required automobile insurance.
