Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and financial products. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to banking operations.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that align with business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure clear communication among project teams.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide the development process.
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs and comply with regulatory standards.
• Assist in the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
• Monitor project progress and report on key metrics to stakeholders.

Mandatory

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of banking operations, including retail banking, commercial banking, and investment banking.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector, with a focus on requirements gathering and process improvement.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

Preferred

Skills:

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the banking industry (e.g., AML, KYC, Dodd-Frank).
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within the banking industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
