Chemours is seeking a Change Manager – Transformational Change to support the company’s most complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This role is a key member of the centralized Change Management Center of Excellence (CoE) and plays a critical role in enabling adoption, leader accountability, and value realization for Chemours’ highest-impact changes, including enterprise transformation and the Chemours Business System (CBS).This position will be based at the Wilmington Office Building ( Wilmington, DE ) or a Chemours Site/Office Location and will report to the Director, Change Management.
The Change Manager – Transformational Change leads change strategy and execution for large-scale, highly complex initiatives that cut across businesses, functions, and geographies. This role partners closely with CET sponsors, senior leaders, and transformation teams to shape the change narrative, equip leaders to lead change, and ensure sustained adoption.
This role requires strong strategic thinking, executive presence, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity while influencing outcomes across a matrixed organization.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead end-to-end change management strategy and execution for enterprise-wide transformational initiatives.
Partner with senior leaders to define the change narrative, leader actions, and adoption strategy from early design through sustainment.
Conduct enterprise change impact, risk, and readiness assessments to inform prioritization and mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with communications team on stakeholder communication needs and messaging.
Develop and deliver interventions for impacted stakeholders to support effective and sustained adoption of desired future state.
Proactively identify sources of resistance and work with leaders and stakeholders to develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Coach leaders and project teams on effective change leadership behaviors and decision-making.
Measure adoption and effectiveness using outcome-based KPIs and translate insights into action.
Align change plans to enterprise standards, tools, and governance established by the Change Management CoE.The following is required for this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, or related field.
8+ years of experience leading change management for complex, enterprise-level initiatives.
Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders on large-scale transformations.
Strong expertise in change management methodologies and applied enterprise change practices.
The following is preferred for this role:
Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Organizational Development, MS in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or similar).Change Certification (Prosci, CCMP, or similar).Experience supporting operating model, business system, or cultural transformations.
Experience measuring change adoption and value realization.
