Job Details
As a Paving Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include:
Overseeing all stages of paving projects, including planning, execution, and completion.Coordinating and supervising the activities of paving crews and subcontractors.Ensuring all paving work is performed in compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.Developing and implementing project schedules, and managing changes as required.Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of work.Identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may arise during the project.Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and team members on project status and updates.Maintaining accurate records of project activities, including costs, timelines, and resources used.Providing training and guidance to team members, and promoting a positive and safe work environment.Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the paving or related construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing paving projects.Extensive knowledge of paving materials, techniques, and equipment.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and overcome challenges in a timely and effective manner.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.Proficiency in project management software and tools.A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed to project sites.Salary: $95,000 - $175,000 per year.
