The Associate Photographer team is responsible for media collection for and Equipped with a Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment, and iPad, Associate Photographers create virtual tours, floor plans and photography for residential homes. Each photographer has a core territory and is responsible for servicing clients in that area. Appointments are set for defined dates and times, during which homes and apartments are scanned with Matterport Pro‑3 cameras to capture virtual tours, floor plans, and residential photography used for marketing purposes.
Responsibilities- Support marketing efforts on and by capturing high‑quality 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.
- Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to capture spaces in the most pleasing way.
- Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
- Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
- While not on a residential property, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage, identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.
- Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
- Represent CoStar professionally at all times and participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day; lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds; repetitive hand and arm movements for typing on a tablet or laptop and operating camera equipment; occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying; ability to work and drive outside during all seasons; rotate weekends;
possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- At least 2 years of professional photography experience, or a degree in photography.
- Track record of commitment to prior employers.
- Real‑estate photography experience required; field experience preferred.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and a client‑first mindset.
- Experienced drone photographer with an FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
- Strong time‑management skills and detail orientation.
- Accurate data capture and entry proficiency.
- Excellent oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and Apple iOS products.
- Enjoy working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Current and valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
Base Compensation: $49,000 - $50,000 (Hourly).
