Position: UX/UI Designer          at DLA Piper        in        Wilmington,        Delaware

Job Title

Following creative direction, produces user experience and user interface designs across the firm's digital properties.

Responsibilities
  • Designs and implements UX and UI solutions for a variety of digital platforms.
  • Develops, documents, maintains, and builds comprehensive visual design systems.
  • Maps out intuitive user flows, sitemaps, and journeys.
  • Utilizes Figma to create mockups and interactive prototypes.
  • Creates and refines detailed user personas.
  • Conducts UX research, usability testing, and website analytics data.
  • Creates scalable web design components.
  • Applies SEO and GEO best practices.
  • Assists in the design and creation of visually engaging email campaigns.
  • Participates in weekly team meetings.
  • Manages assigned project tasks from concept to completion.
  • Assists with day-to-day operations of the brand function.
  • Availability to work outside regular hours for high-profile projects if necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills
  • Strong and dynamic design portfolio showcasing UX/UI and visual design principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software.
  • Experience crafting intuitive components for multimedia web platforms.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility, and basic front-end development.
  • Direct experience working within enterprise CMS, specifically Sitecore and AEM.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance the design workflow.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Demonstrated follow-through and self-starter.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in UX/UI Design or related field.
Preferred Education
  • Master's Degree in UX/UI Design or related field.
Minimum Years of Experience
  • 3 years of experience in professional print and digital design experience.

Work Environment

The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work.

Compensation

The firm's expected hiring range for this position is $41.20 - $65.52 per hour depending on the candidate's geographic market location. Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate's experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
