Greek foreign language teacher

K-12 grade education charter school, offers a rigorous standards-based curriculum and

instruction in a challenging, yet nurturing, learning environment. The school provides a

classical approach to public education with the added component of the Greek language

and Math in Greek.

This is a full-time on-site Greek as a Foreign Language Teacher role located in Wilmington, DE at Odyssey Charter School. The teacher will be responsible for instructing students in the Greek language, developing lesson plans, providing communication with students and parents, and teaching effectively in a diverse student body.

• BA in Education, Languages, or related field
• Two years of teaching experience in a classroom in-person setting (no private lessons)
• Full-time teacher during the last school year
• Diploma in English (B1)

• Lesson Planning, Material Designing, and Communication skills
• Experience in teaching foreign languages (preferred)
• Master's in Education or related field (preferred)
• Ability to effectively communicate with students and parents in Greek and English
• Experience with diverse student populations
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
