Job Summary:
This full-time position will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior analytic services to deliver direct support to students, families, and schools related to social emotional and behavioral health needs. The BCBA will consult with staff on the design and implementation of evidence-based practices to improve social emotional and behavioral wellbeing.
Job Qualifications:
? Master’s Degree in relevant and related field.
? Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
? Experience in data collection and analysis including the development and implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
? Experience working with children and/or adults with behavioral and/or social emotional needs
? Experience consulting with school staff in the effective implementation of behavioral supports and interventions as well as school wide positive behavioral support systems
Essential Responsibilities:
? Support in behavior interventions and best practices K-12
? Consult and collaborate with, support, and/or coach individual staff or teams of teachers/school personnel regarding classroom management, individual student needs, and data collection
? Participate in problem-solving teams for Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
? Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) including all related data collection systems
? Support all relevant staff in implementation of Behavior Support Plans
? Maintain current graphs of all behavioral data collected, and help instructional teams make data-informed decisions regarding behavioral and educational interventions.
? Participate in IEP meetings and help the IEP team make data-informed decisions regarding behavioral and educational interventions.
? Provide building/district professional development related to MTSS, culturally responsive behavioral supports, data collection and analysis, and any related topic as identified by the School Leadership Team
? Holds Crisis Prevention Intervention certification (strongly preferred)
? Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Student Services
