Qualifications & Experience:
  • State licensure and certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Advanced training or experience in public health psychology preferred
  • Experience conducting student assessments, counseling, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt to new school environments and quickly build positive relationships
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
  • Complete psycho educational assessments and interpret results for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver counseling and crisis intervention for students as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary staff to promote student success
  • Develop prevention/intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral concerns
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
