Role DescriptionAs a Part-Time Teacher at Huntington Learning Center, you will work directly with students in a structured, supportive learning environment focused on building academic skills, confidence, and long-term success.
Teachers and academic support staff provide individualized and small-group instruction using Huntington’s proven curriculum and instructional methods.
In this position, you may support students with:
- Reading comprehension and writing skills
- Math and science instruction
- Study skills and organization
- Test-taking strategies and exam preparation
- Academic confidence and focus
- Learning differences and individualized learning needs
The ideal candidate is patient, encouraging, adaptable, and passionate about helping students grow academically and emotionally. Team members collaborate closely with supervisors and families to create a positive and motivating educational experience for every student.

- Provide individualized instruction to Huntington students
- Support students with varying learning styles and academic needs
- Correct student work using provided answer keys
- Communicate student concerns or progress to supervisors
- Participate in paid teacher meetings and trainings
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required
- Teaching certification, Exam Prep tutoring experience, Special Education experience, or paraprofessional experience strongly preferred
- Passion for helping students succeed
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, in-center and/or online
