The Radiologic Technology Program seeks an adjunct instructor to provide 16 hours per week of clinical instruction during the Fall 2026 semester. The adjunct instructor will supervise and support students at assigned clinical sites, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.

Salary: $45.60 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and instruct courses as assigned by the Department Chairperson/supervisor, utilizing effective and engaging instructional strategies, the learning management system (LMS), appropriate communication, classroom management, leadership skills, and instructional/educational technology.
  • Demonstrate best practices in instruction and classroom management that respond to students’ diverse academic needs.
  • Use instructional technology, including multimedia, to meet students’ learning needs and achieve the objectives of the academic program/College.
  • Assist or lead in planning and/or developing new curriculum and courses, as assigned by the Department Chairperson/Dean; evaluate and revise existing curriculum and courses as part of the annual course evaluation process.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of Student Learning Outcomes Assessment (SLOA).
  • Serve as an advisor for students, using effective advisement strategies and the Student Educational Plan to promote retention and progression.
  • Assist students toward the successful completion of course(s) by providing outreach, guidance, feedback, supplemental instruction, tutoring, and other approved academic support.
  • Be accessible to students and provide a minimum of six posted office hours per week.
  • Maintain adequate and timely student records (e.g., grade postings in the LMS) and report students’ progress and attendance promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to facilitate College operations and achieve goals; provide guidance to new and adjunct faculty as assigned.
  • Assist in attaining and maintaining program accreditation.
  • Complete the New Faculty Development Program (NFDP) during the one‑year probationary period and the Instructional Design Technology Certificate or demonstrate mastery of its competencies.
  • Pursue continuous professional development and growth; remain current within the academic field/discipline.
  • Participate in departmental, campus, and College meetings; serve on committees and advise student clubs as assigned.
  • Help develop and implement College policies, objectives, and functions related to program planning, marketing, budget development, and public relations.
  • Support recruitment, enrollment, advisement, transfer, and graduate employment processes as assigned.
  • Participate in day, evening, and weekend program staffing as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification or equivalent as required for accreditation.
