Unlike full-time academic advisors, this position does not maintain a designated caseload of assigned students. Instead, the Part‑Time Academic Advisor focuses on supporting walk‑in students, delivering high‑quality advising services in the Advising Lab, and assisting students with academic planning, registration, and navigation of college resources.
Assess student needs, goals, interests, and prior academic experiences to guide students in the design and implementation of a successful academic plan. Collaborate with the Academic Advising Center team, faculty, and student services staff to address the advising needs of individual students and groups.
