Salary Range: $50,748.10 To $50,748.10 Annually
SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTIONProvides engaging instruction, administers tests, and evaluates student progress, understanding, and proficiency in assigned field of Culinary Arts.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides students with industry‑recognized instruction and training.
- Develops and prepares lessons; recommends curricula changes and supplemental materials.
- Administers and corrects tests; logs and maintains progress and attendance.
- Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
- Manages the classroom by moving about the room to tutor, coach, evaluate, and assist each student as the need arises.
- Motivates and counsels students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems or study habits.
- Evaluates and supervises students in an on‑the‑job training experience.
- Participates in providing hands‑on activities for students in the career preparation program.
- Experience must meet the state or professional trade organization requirements.
