Location: Wilmington, DE

Focused Staffing Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Physical Education Teacher to serve students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This role is ideal for an educator who brings creativity, strong classroom presence, and a passion for wellness to a diverse, multiage learning environment.

• Create, implement, and evaluate engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education curriculum for students in grades K–2

• Design lessons that promote physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, and healthy habits

• Oversee, organize, and maintain all physical education materials, supplies, and equipment

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages student participation and confidence

• Adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners with varying abilities and learning styles

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall school community

• Dynamic, motivated educator with a foundation in kinesiology or a related field

• Experience teaching in a constructivist, multiage learning environment serving diverse student populations

• Strong ability to engage students with a variety of learning styles and physical abilities

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Demonstrated ability to use discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred

• Current CPR and First Aid certification required

• Tuberculosis (TB) clearance required

• Current California Teaching Credential in Physical Education is highly desirable

• Favorable Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
