Elementary Teacher - Kindergarten

We are seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join a charter school in Wilmington, DE. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting students' growth academically and socially.

• Teach core subjects to elementary students
• Work effectively with students in an elementary and middle school placement as needed
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet students' individual needs and district standards
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Prepare and submit lesson plans or documentation as requested by the principal
• Encourage and maintain high standards of student behavior and achievement
• Keep accurate student records in compliance with state and school policies
• Collaborate with staff, administration, and parents to support student success
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree (required, Education or related field preferred)
• Delaware Standard Teaching Certification (required)
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities

• Favorable Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Check (for those offered employment)
• Tuberculin Test and Physical (required)
• Mandatory Direct Deposit of paycheck
• COVID-19 compliance: employees must certify vaccination status, undergo weekly testing, or request an exemption (medical/religious)

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
