Clarvida is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support youth referred by the public school system in our alternative school placement. Students are assigned for 45–180 days and receive a blended, skill‑based learning experience designed to help them succeed academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.

Our small classroom sizes, hands‑on learning, restorative circles, and online curriculum create an environment where students feel supported and understood. Teachers work within a close‑knit team that helps students build success in the long term—many return years later to share their progress.

• Deliver individualized and skill‑based instruction in small classroom settings.
• Implement a blended curriculum using hands‑on projects, restorative circles, and online learning.
• Support IEP goals and collaborate with school staff.
• Maintain a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Engage in team meetings, communication, and planning.

• Bachelor’s Degree and Delaware Certification in Special Education.
• Or Bachelor’s Degree with Special Education Certification from another state (Clarvida will assist with Delaware reciprocity).
• Able to pass background and criminal record checks.
• Meets mandated health requirements (e.g., negative tuberculosis test).
• Compliance with drug‑free workplace rules and board policies.
