Assistant Teacher
We are currently looking for a friendly and competent Assistant Teacher to join our Head Start team. If you are a compassionate and self‑motivated individual with a specific interest in early education, we urge you to apply!
Pay Based on Education- CDA/AA/BA in Progress $18.03/hr.
- CDA/AA/BA $18.86/hr.
In the Assistant Teacher position, you will be responsible for supervising students, assisting in developing lesson plans, preparing lesson materials, and maintaining classroom tidiness. As a minimum requirement, ideal applicants should have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a state‑awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential. Applicants able to be enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate degree, baccalaureate degree, or a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of hire will also be considered.
Tuition assistance is provided in most cases. Applicants must meet state licensing requirements.
