HT Coach About Coach Across America
Founded in 2010, Coach Across America is a national nonprofit organization that is focused on the power of coaches to transform the lives of our nation’s most vulnerable youth and the communities they live in through sports. Coach Across America is based on a simple premise:
That highly trained coaches can be among the most transformative adults in young people’s lives and inspire their success on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
Ameri Corps State and National programs provide thousands of Americans each year the opportunity to improve the lives of their fellow citizens through service. A federal agency, Ameri Corps works hand in hand with local partners, tapping the ingenuity and can-do spirit of the American people to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing our nation. Ameri Corps invests in thousands of nonprofit and faith-based groups that are making a difference nationwide.
Coach Across America is a proud member of the Ameri Corps community.
