Pay Rate:
Competitive Weekly Pay based on experience starting at $50/hr

As a school-based Special Education Teacher (K–12), you'll help students with diverse learning needs reach their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
Your days will include:
- Providing specialized instruction to students across K–12 grade levels with diverse learning needs.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborating with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families.
- Assessing student progress and adjusting instructional strategies to support academic and behavioral growth.
- Participating in IEP meetings and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Implementing accommodations, modifications, and positive behavior supports.
- Maintaining compliance with IDEA, California regulations, and district policies.
Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
Caseload: K–12 (placement discussed during the interview)
School Year: 2026–2027
Qualifications- Active DE Special Education Teacher Credential (or eligibility).
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience supporting K–12 students with diverse learning needs preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills.
