Secondary Special Education Teacher

School Year  - Cab Calloway is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic individual to join our talented and dedicated Special Education Department. This position is scheduled to service both middle and high school students (push-in, small group, and case management) in our creative, vibrant school community. Strongly prefer Social Studies, Science, and Math.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Special Education Certification or willingness to obtain certification in English, Science, Math, and Social Studies.
• Desire to collaborate with a dynamic team of special education and content-area teachers to scaffold and deliver curriculum to meet the needs of all students.
• Ability to clearly communicate with families and staff.
• Experience providing instruction to students in an inclusive classroom setting.
• Case management experience preferred.
• Understanding of Schoology or equivalent platform for grading, assignments, lessons, etc.

Required Certificate(s):
Delaware Advanced License Delaware Continuing License Delaware Initial License Certified in Core Content
