Blazer Jobs is seeking compassionate and dependable Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students in specialized educational settings throughout Delaware.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy working directly with students with autism and/or emotional and behavioral needs and want to make a meaningful impact in a school setting.
Position Highlights:- Multiple age groups available:
Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School, and High School - Specialized classroom settings with additional student support
- Opportunities supporting students with Autism and Emotional/Behavioral needs
- W-2 contract position through Blazer Jobs
- Full-time benefits available
- Provide academic, behavioral, and daily living support to students with disabilities
- Assist students in specialized and self-contained classroom environments
- Support students with autism and/or emotional and behavioral needs
- Assist with toileting and other personal-care needs as required
- Work collaboratively with teachers, BCBAs, and other school staff
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Active Delaware Para educator Permit OR proof that a Delaware Para educator Permit is pending through the DEEDS portal
- Must be comfortable assisting with toileting
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities is strongly preferred
