The Adjunct Instructor for English as a Second Language provides classroom (in-person) instruction to ESL students at either the Wilmington and/or Stanton Campus locations (northern Delaware), delivering engaging lessons in accordance to prescribed course curricula, two or three days per week (mornings or afternoons) during the fall semester. The adjunct instructor evaluates student learning using department-provided assessments and collaborates with the department chair and full-time course lead(s) to support course objectives and student learning outcomes

Summary Statement

Nature and Scope
An incumbent in this class typically reports to the Dean of Instruction through an Instructional Director, Department Chairperson or Program Coordinator. An incumbent is expected to plan, organize, and instruct in a manner to promote and direct successful student learning in keeping with the College’s values and goals.
