Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking to hire a Special Education Teacher

- Valid Special Education teaching certification/license in the state of employment
- Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred
Every state has its own requirements for Special Education Teachers. If you do not currently have a license or certification for a specific state, the licensing team at PDS will help you through the process!
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERAs a Special Education Teacher, you will spend your day helping students reach their academic, social, and developmental goals. Setting students up for success both in the school setting and beyond is meaningful work that builds a rewarding career!
You will provide high-quality, individualized instruction and support to students based on their IEPs and educational needs
. You will collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to develop and implement effective strategies that support student success. You may also participate in IEP meetings, monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and adapt instruction to meet each student's unique strengths and areas of need.
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) provides the nation's public school districts, charter schools, and communities at large with highly qualified pediatric therapists, including speech, occupational, and physical therapists.
