Job Title:
Solidworks Designer
The Mechanical Designer will support projects utilizing Solidworks to upgrade existing equipment, provide refurbished second-hand equipment, and refurbish equipment at a customer's site.
Responsibilities- Utilize Solidworks to design mechanical components.
- Upgrade and refurbish existing equipment.
- Reverse engineer parts to create accurate CAD drawings.
- Collaborate on projects with a small, dedicated team.
- Measure parts using calipers and micrometers to recreate CAD drawings.
- Mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency in Solidworks.
- Knowledge of equipment parts, specifically filters.
- Ability to measure parts accurately with calipers and micrometers.
- 5+ years of Solidworks experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to draft materials such as steel, metal, and tubing.
- Experience drafting fabrication drawings.
- Experience in reverse engineering to create drawings.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, DE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr.
