Senior Hydrogeologist (Part Time)

Terraphase seeks a part time Senior Hydrogeologist to support and lead water resources and hydrogeologic investigations. This role provides senior level technical expertise, mentoring, and project support, focusing on groundwater supply development, aquifer testing, modeling, and regulatory coordination. The position is well suited for an experienced professional seeking a flexible schedule while remaining engaged in meaningful technical work.

• Provide senior level technical leadership on groundwater and water supply projects
• Design and review groundwater supply investigations and aquifer testing programs
• Support groundwater flow modeling efforts including MODFLOW
• Provide technical oversight of drilling programs in unconsolidated and bedrock formations
• Support water allocation permitting and regulatory coordination
• Review hydrogeologic data and technical reports
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to staff
• Support proposal development and client communication as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field
• Advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years of hydrogeology and groundwater experience
• Strong background in water supply development and aquifer testing
• Experience with groundwater modeling and interpretation
• Ability to work independently and provide senior level judgment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Municipal and industrial water supply projects
• Aquifer Storage and Recovery projects
• PFAS and groundwater quality evaluations
• Regulatory permitting and agency coordination
• Technical mentoring and training

Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000 USD
