Our client is a leading engineering and infrastructure firm supporting large-scale utility and grid modernization projects across the U.S. They specialize in transmission, substation, and distribution work, partnering with major utilities to deliver critical power delivery solutions.

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end execution of T&D projects, including transmission lines (69kV-500kV) and substations (up to 500kV)
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and overall project performance
• Coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction, and field teams
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, utilities, and stakeholders
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Oversee contracts, change orders, and vendor performance
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Mentor junior PMs and support team development
• Provide executive-level reporting and project updates

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Project Manager - Transmission & Distribution should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 8+ years of experience managing T&D or power delivery projects
• Strong experience with high-voltage transmission and/or substation projects
• Proficiency in scheduling and project controls tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
