We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Electrical Construction Project Manager to join our Life Science North America (LSNA) group.

As an Electrical Construction Project Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of Life Science projects based in our Conshohocken, PA office. Collaborate with top Engineers and Project Managers, and gain hands‑on experience with project Contractors, while being empowered to deliver innovative solutions to everyday construction challenges.

In this role, you will ensure the successful completion of construction projects for some of the world’s largest life science manufacturers while prioritizing safety, timeliness, and budget adherence, all while exceeding client expectations. A successful construction manager meticulously plans and manages projects, excels in communication with the project team, and actively works to mitigate risks affecting schedule, budget, safety, or quality.

We are looking for a self‑motivated professional with 8 or more years of experience in life science construction project management or engineering.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting onsite inspections and walkdowns, and handling field administration tasks.
  • Leading project meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and logs.
  • Reviewing submittals, shop drawings, material certifications, and other project deliverables to support project turnover.
  • Ensuring all construction complies with design specifications and drawings.
  • Managing project financials, including change management processes.
  • Overseeing project schedules, providing status updates, and long‑range forecasting.
  • Completing the project closeout process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of project records to client satisfaction.
  • Fostering a cooperative partnership between clients, contractors, and stakeholders for successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • 8+ years of experience managing construction projects for industrial and/or commercial facilities, with a preference for life science experience.
  • Strong understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls systems and associated equipment.
  • Knowledge in Automatic Temperature Control (ATC), Building Automation Systems (BAS), and process control systems.
  • Familiarity with general construction activity sequencing and execution.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software and presence on active construction projects.
  • Proficiency in managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance testing/reporting.
  • Understanding of the commissioning and qualification process for MEP systems.
  • Background in Project Controls and Procurement strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in design and pre‑construction processes, building systems, contracts, project delivery methods, team building, and client relations.
  • Advanced knowledge in MEP systems, architectural systems, and clean room technologies.
  • Familiarity with LEAN strategies and technologies in project execution.
  • Experience in updating project schedules with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Knowledge of construction project sequencing and ability to utilize 3D technologies such as BIM
    360, REVIT, or similar.
