Engineer – Cherry Island Landfill
Location:
Wilmington, DE | Full-time Regular Professional
Salary Range: $63,065.00 – $ annually.
Responsibilities- Supervise project engineering assignments to ensure work is completed on time.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Serve as backup to the Facility Engineer.
- Oversee contractor activities on site, including construction oversight.
- Supervise weighing staff.
- At least 2 years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical or related engineering.
- Strong writing, communication and computer skills.
- Knowledge and experience in landfill operations or solid waste management is preferable but not required.
