Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the continued growth of our Houston, Texas office. (All genders welcome)

• Execute the project in line with customer expectations, HSE rules, corporate guidelines, processes, policies, governance, and the law.
• Review the scope of work and legal and commercial terms and conditions.
• Create the work breakdown structure, define and sequence activities.
• Estimate resource requirements, including duration, and develop the master schedule.
• Acquire a project team through relevant departments, optimized for the scope of work.
• Provide leadership for the project team by building and motivating members to meet project goals.
• Establish communication to the project team and customer on a regular basis.
• Identify and analyze project risks, monitor and control those risks.
• Monitor and control project work, schedule, and budget.
• Manage project invoicing and cash flow.
• Identify and manage changes during project execution.
• Approve final project deliverables.
• Identify and communicate additional sales opportunities.
• Administer the contract and close the project.
• Ensure completeness of project documentation.
• Document lessons learned and best practices.

• Decide on all relevant subjects to achieve the project’s objectives, including the use of resources and funds, within the project budget.
• Request relevant information from the Sales Manager.
• Propose and release team members in close cooperation with department heads.
• Delegate tasks to qualified project team members and instruct them within project needs.
• Influence the selection of suppliers and contractors.
• Receive project status information from team members and project-relevant information from supporting functions.
• Escalate to Regional Business Managers when necessary.

Education/Experience

• Degree with an engineering or technical focus or comparable training with relevant experience.
• Proven record of managing successful multi‑business‑line projects over 5‑7 years with medium‑high complexity, solid technical and operational understanding, and advanced sales knowledge of the respective product and service portfolio.
• Several years of experience in the Asset Integrity and Pipeline Industry.
• Expertise in pipeline condition assessment, including basic knowledge and practical experience with integrity assessments according to industry understanding of pipeline inspection technologies.
