Constellation Energy seeks a Structural Engineer to support design and integrity of energy generation and delivery infrastructure. In this role, you will perform structural analysis, design, and review of steel, concrete, and foundation systems for power plants and related facilities. Responsibilities include preparing calculations and drawings, ensuring code compliance, evaluating existing structures, and supporting construction and maintenance activities. You will collaborate with cross functional engineering teams, contribute to sustainability-focused projects, and help drive safe, reliable, and efficient energy solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for energy generation and delivery facilities
- Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, industry standards, and company requirements
- Evaluate condition and capacity of existing structures and foundations
- Support construction, inspection, and maintenance activities in the field
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
- Contribute to sustainability and resilience objectives in structural solutions
- Provide technical reports, documentation, and design recommendations
