The Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management Team Lead is a working leader responsible for managing a complex CRE loan portfolio while providing day-to-day guidance and oversight to a team of Portfolio Managers. This role partners closely with Relationship Managers, Credit Administration, and Risk to ensure high-quality underwriting, timely execution, strong credit quality, and compliance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

* Manage and underwrite a portfolio of complex Commercial Real Estate relationships, supporting Relationship Managers and Credit Administration.
* Independently structure and underwrite CRE loans in accordance with Bank policy, risk appetite, and regulatory standards.
* Prepare, review, and present accurate, timely credit approval packages.
* Monitor maturing and expiring loans, annual reviews, and renewal activity, driving timely completion through nCino.
* Participate in client and prospect meetings to assess financing needs and identify risks and opportunities.
* Lead day-to-day team performance management, including goal setting, ongoing coaching and feedback, mid-year and annual performance reviews, and development planning.
* Provide guidance, review, and quality control for credit work produced by Portfolio Managers, ensuring consistency and adherence to policy.
* Support workflow management and prioritization to meet business, audit, and regulatory deadlines.
* Identify and escalate emerging portfolio risks and recommend appropriate actions.
* Partner with Relationship Managers to collect financial information, coordinate client outreach, and prioritize renewals, modifications, and new credit requests.
* Conduct periodic site visits to maintain familiarity with collateral, properties, and client operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree, in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; formal credit training preferred.
* Extensive experience in Commercial Real Estate portfolio management and underwriting.
* Proven ability to independently underwrite complex CRE transactions.
* Strong knowledge of credit policy, regulatory requirements, and CRE risk management.
* Must have strong knowledge of commercial and consumer loan and deposit products.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credit systems (experience with
** nCino
* * preferred).
* Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
** Salary Range:**$92,869.00 - $Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational  addition to base salary, WSFS Financial Corporation (WSFS) and its subsidiaries may offer eligible Associates discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
